By thinking of someone other than yourself, you gain treasure in heaven. By keeping God as your focus and knowing Jesus Christ as your Savior, you have eternal life.

Being righteous in the eyes of the Lord means having unwavering faith in His Word and in His perfect plan for you.

Genesis 15:6 -- "And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith."

God promised Abraham descendants as numerous as the stars (Genesis 15:5). Then He called Abraham righteous because of his faith. The same God will call us righteous by our faith, our trust in Him.

Seeking God out means going to Him first and foremost about anything, big or small. It is putting away our gossip, comparisons, judgments, idle hands and reaching out to the Lord our God for guidance and for protection.

When we are faithful, when we put God first in our lives, He provides for us. He may not deliver everything you want, but He will give you everything need. He is out Provider, our Comforter, our Guiding Light, and our Guardian. He is God Almighty, our Creator and our Friend.

He wants a personal relationship with us and He wants us to know Him. When we obey and trust Him, He provide for us in ways we can't even imagine.
