My daughter woke up one day determined to go to the beach. We don't live too far from a beach, but with an already busy weekend and unpredictable weather, we had already decided not to make the trip. So we did the next best thing -- we brought the beach to us. We surfed in our little pool and ate a picnic outside. It was a fun day outside and yes daughter of mine, we will go to the beach again soon!

There is nothing like a little pool to cool off in. I just bought one today, although my boys are much bigger. She is so cute! Looks like she had a ball.
I agree! It ended up being a wonderful afternoon. And the best part was when we were done we just went inside and cooled off instead of having to drive back home.
We had a similar discussion about getting a big pool. This one was our compromise. We put it on the driveway so it wouldn't kill the grass and we can move it whenever we need too. It works for us, at least until Zoey get bigger.
What a fun picture! Makes me want to jump right into a pool. Ah...the good old days when we were kids and didn't have a care in the world! Thanks for sharing and for linking up!

ReplyDeleteYes, it is perfect for summer. It is nice because it isn't too big, but I can still get in and cool off too!
DeleteLovely picture! It is great that she could have fun in the pool. Thanks for hosting.

Sometimes that can be fun, but I'm glad we stayed home, it was a wonderful afternoon. And it did rain later, so I was glad I made a good call.
DeleteLooks like she's having a fantastic time!!
