The floaties work amazingly! They keep her head above water with no problems. In the pool I can let go of her with them on and let her swim/float by herself. In the ocean they helped her keep her balance and keep her head above water when a wave hit her. Once she realized the independence they gave her she didn't mind wearing them at all. I recommend them to anyone.
