Zephaniah 3:17 -- "For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs."
Why do we love God? The explanation, in its most simplest form, is because he loved us first. The entire Bible is a testament of God's love for his people, for his children. Even after his people turned away from him, he continues to guard and guide them.
Christ is our Savior, giving us opportunity for joy and peace in a world full of violence and hate. God wants to show us blessings, even when times are hard God shows us purpose and grants us peace.
God is love. He guards and guides you as you walk through this world. He will calm your fears and he will delight in all of the small details. God will rejoice over you, his child, and sing your joyful songs.
