Glory Revealed - Romans 8:18

Romans 8:18 -- "Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later."

There will always be suffering. It is inevitable in this fallen world we live in. There will always be sickness, tragedy, injustice, bad attitudes, bad days and bad people. However, that is not what should define us.

It is Jesus and Jesus alone who should define us. And no matter what this world has to throw at you, it will be nothing compared to the glory awaiting you in heaven.

The trials of the world should not make us hard, but shape us into the people Christ wants us to be -- generous and joyous.

Even amidst the heartache and turmoil this world has to offer, God grants us peace and joy right where we are -- right in the middle of it all. Through Christ it is not the suffering that defines us, but the triumph that we sever an Almighty God that is greater than this whole world and all of its problems.

We have hope and life and those bring great joy. Yet even that will not compare to the glory God will reveal when Jesus returns to claim the world once again.
