Beginnings, Day 3: New Day, New Choice

Isaiah 60:1 -- "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."

We all do things we aren't proud of. We all fall short of God's glory. We are human and covered in sin. But Jesus made a way for us. Jesus gave us a light that began with Him.

One day you may open your eyes and wonder how you strayed so far. Perhaps you have just accepted Jesus and you feel the pull of your old self. It doesn't matter where you begin, the point is that you take a step. Jesus is waiting to shine His light on you.

This week I'm talking about beginnings. We've talked about creation and a relationship with Christ. Now it's time to make the first step -- a step of faith. Each and every day is a brand new day; in each and every moment lies a choice, whether to live for God or for yourself. God wants you to choose Him, every moment God wants your love.

Now it's time to make your choice. Rise and let your light shine today!
