Give Your Burdens to God

Psalm 55:22 -- "Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall."

God will take care of you! We praise God and thank Him for what we have and beg Him to help us, but we often don't ever really give that burden to him. We let him hold onto it for awhile and let Him know that we are concerned and that we need help, but then we keep it with us. We worry and dwell and literally make ourselves sick trying to figure it out ourselves.

God want to help us. He wants to take all our burdens from us, if we will only let Him. We give God our worry and He gives us His peace. We give God our concern and He gives us His protection. We trust God to care for us and He gives us joy. That is a miracle. But we have to give over our burdens to him completely. He cannot bless us is we refuse to trust Him. We must walk in faith knowing God will care for us, trusting that He will not let us slip and fall.

Dear Lord,
Help me to let go of my burdens, concerns and worry. I want to walk by faith. I want to feel you protection and joy always.
