This is one way I sow seeds in God's Kingdom, but there are many, often subtle, ways to sow seeds. Teaching bible study, giving money to the church or those in need, being a friend, telling others about Christ, and living a life that sets you apart from the world are just to name a few. We put in the initial work and then we wait, letting God work throughout the world and the people in it.
We sow seeds in faith and at the proper time, God's timing, there will be a harvest. I will be a beautiful, plentiful harvest for the glory of God and His Kingdom. Let us not grow weary during the wait, but look forward to the great things God can and will do with the seeds that we sow.
Dear Lord,
I pray in faith that the seeds I sow are watered and grow by Your hands and that one day there will be a great harvest where all the glory is given to You.
I needed to read this today! Thanks for sharing this verse.
ReplyDeleteThis post falls in line with something that has been on my mind the last few days. While sowing those seeds, you have to be patient for the outcome.
ReplyDeleteIt also sounds like you are questioning your calling for this post. But trust me it touches many people though you may not realize it. The quiestest actions may have a long standing wave.
