The Bible is God's Word. God's Word is our open connection to learn more about Him. I contains His promises, history, prophecies, miracles, deliverance, ,justice, mercy and love -- above all else, it shows us love.

The Bible, God's Word, is our only offensive weapon against the unseen evils we face every day. There is incredible power in our thoughts, our actions and our words. God commands us to live in the light so we can combat the darkness, the negative energy, we fight against.

We've been talking about beginnings. First there was God and His creation, then comes the understanding and wisdom that provides a way for us to have a relationship with the Almighty Lord. Next comes a choice, to live for Him or against Him. Now we talk about the power that He gives us to follow Christ and conquer sin.

God's Word already existed at the creation of this world. It is the source of our knowledge and wisdom that explains who His is. It is how He teaches which way is right and which way is wrong. The Bible, God's Word, is our rule book for this life. By knowing God, we know who we side with in the cosmic war.

The Word of God is a manifestation of who He is, what He has done and what He is going to do. The Bible has a history on earth, honestly a rather sordid history. This is because it had to go through the hands of man to be translated so we could understand what God is trying to communicate to us. However, the essence, the overall meaning and the power of God's Word is unequal because it is God Himself. When we read God's Word, we give Him an opportunity to show himself to us.
