God Provides - Genesis 3:21

Genesis 3:21 -- "And the Lord God made clothing from animal skins for Adam and his wife."

God is our Father, our Protector and also our Provider. When we disobey God we are separated from Him. However, He still wants to help us restore our relationship with Him. Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden by eating the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. He had to disciple them for their sin, which meant they were forced to leave the garden entirely.

However, even though they disobey and even though they faced consequences for their decision, God did not abandon them. He made clothing for them out of animal skins to cover them. Even though they sinned, God still loved them. They were His creation, His children and He cared for them.

God does the same for us. We will choose wrong and make mistakes, we are Adam and Eve’s descendants and are born with sin already in our hearts. However, God does not abandon us, He stays beside us providing ways to overcome sin and to restore our relationship with Him. When you make a mistake do not hide in fear, instead, go to God with a humble heart, repent and ask Him to help you learn and grow closer to Him.
